The IWP director, Alyona Getmanchuk, joined to the initiative group to form a new Public Council (Hromadska Rada) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
The initiative group have a task to prepare and conduct the constituent assembly of a new composition of the Public Council, taking into the account the proposals of the civil society.
As it is noted in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Public Council have to become a partner for the Ministry and to become an effective mechanism for improving the efficiency of the Ukraine’s foreign policy. The Public Council should become a platform for the dialogue between the Foreign Ministry with the civil society and with the experts.
