V4 Supporting Communication Strategy of Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine

Institute of World Policy in cooperation with partners from Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, as well as Georgia and Moldova and with the support of the Visegrad Fund is conducting the project “V4 Supporting Communication Strategy for Moldova, Georgia, and Ukraine on Implementing Association Agreement and Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement.”This project is aimed at analyzing the communication strategies used in Ukraine in order to increase public awareness on the Association Agreement and DCFTA and takes into account the information campaigns initiated by government institutions, NGOs, and the media.
On May 12, 2016, the Institute organized a workshop and invited representatives of the government, non-governmental organizations, embassies, business, and media. The objective of this event was to organize an expert discussion on the preliminary results of the research and define steps that the government should take in order to develop effective communication strategies and conduct an efficient information campaign on the implementation of the Association Agreement and DCFTA.
The final stage of the project in February 2017 will be presentation of the analytical report, taking into account Ukrainian realities and positive experience of the Visegrad Group countries in communicating European integration and proposing detailed recommendations to improve communication strategy for Ukraine.
