
Viktor Shlinchak, Chair of the Supervisory Board. In 2002, he created a website glavred.info, which, since 2005, became a basis for the Glavred Media Holding. As the president of the holding company, Viktor managed several media outlets, which compose the holding company, such as Ukraine’s leading information agency, UNIAN; a group of Glavred websites; daily newspapers Novaya and Izvestiya v Ukraine; magazines Profile, Glavred, Telecity, and Telekritika; numerous online media; and TV channels City, Kino, and UNIAN TV, where he chaired various administration and editorial bodies. During Viktor’s presidency, the holding was rated 5th among Ukraine’s online media and became one of the most influential media in the country. The 15-year experience in political analysis makes Viktor one of the most influential journalists in the country. His published of a series of articles and his interviews with all from among the presidents of Ukraine and political opposition players demonstrates his independence and professionalist. Victor graduated from T. Shevchenko Kyiv National University with a specialist degree in Ukrainian linguistics (1997). In 2009, President Viktor Yushchenko presented Viktor Shlinchak with a designation of the Honored Journalist of Ukraine. He is also a recipient of an Honorary Certificate of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (2009).

Alyona Getmanchuk, director of the Institute of World Policy, is an experienced journalist, media and NGO manager and foreign policy analyst. Her achievements include her latest engagement with Glavred, where she served as editor-in-chief for four years. Her prior journalistic experience includes six years as international policy observer, international correspondent, screenwriter, and editor. Her work includes numerous published articles, policy papers, and interviews, including the first interview of an American president given to a Ukrainian journalist. Alyona is an author of Kyiv’s Mirror Weekly newspaper for ten years. She also served as an expert in the EU project for informing the public regarding EU institutions. Alyona holds a specialist's degree from T. Shevchenko Kyiv National University (2000), and she completed professional development programs in Japan and South Korea. She was presented by the President of Ukraine with a designation of the Honored Journalist of Ukraine (2009), a Distinction Medal and an Honorary Certificate of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Ukraine (2005, 2008), and a Special Distinction Certificate of the Minister of Interior of Ukraine (2008).

Serhiy Solodky, first deputy director of the Institute of World Policy, is an expert international affairs journalist.
He served ten years as an editor of international news desks and deputy editor in chief in Ukrainian newspapers “The Day” and “Gazeta 24”, as well in publications of Glavred Media Holding.
Serhiy is also an author for newspapers “Mirror Weekly” and “Livy Bereh”. As a media activist, he has been sought as a media workshop and conference organizer. He obtained a master’s in journalism degree from T. Shevchenko Kyiv National University (2002). He speaks fluent English, German, Russian, and Ukrainian.

Kateryna Zarembo, deputy director of the Institute of World Policy, is an expert in international relations and Ukraine’s foreign policy. She started her career at the International Centre for Policy Studies (Kyiv, Ukraine) as a Foreign Policy program expert. She is also an OSI/LGI fellow and a visiting scholar to FRIDE (Madrid-based think-tank). She regularly contributes articles and op-eds to the popular Ukrainian media. Kateryna holds an MA in English Linguistics from Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University (Kyiv, Ukraine) and an MA in European Studies from University College Dublin (Dublin, Ireland). She speaks fluent English, Spanish and Italian alongside her native Ukrainian and Russian.
