The consortium of partners from 10 countries presented the first results of the research project “Important, Forgotten or Irrelevant? Stakeholders’ Survey on Post-Vilnius Eastern Partnership”, which is supported by International Visegrad Fund. Ukraine is represented by the Institute of World Policy.The presentation took place at the 6th annual meeting of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum on November 20 in Batumi, Georgia.

The research project is realized by nine think-tanks Association for International Affairs (AMO), Slovak Foreign Policy Association (SFPA), Kosciuszko Institute (KI), Center for EU Enlargement Studies of the Central European University (CENS/CEU), Institute of World Policy (IWP), Caucasian Institute for Economic and Social Research (CIESR), Foreign Policy Association of Moldova (APE), Analytical Centre on Globalization and Regional Cooperation (ACGRC), Center for National and International Studies (CNIS) and one independent expert from Belarus.

The project purpose is to (1) map attitudes towards and perception of Eastern Partnership among important stakeholders; and (2) to draw EaP advocacy map. The project will contribute to capacity building of civil society in EaP countries, strengthen sustainability of the EaP and enhance regional cooperation of the civil society organizations and think-tanks. Results will aid in setting up appropriate advocacy strategy for EU integration of EaP countries.
