Sergiy Solodkyy, First Deputy Director of the Institute of World Policy, took part in the working visit of Ukrainian experts to Budapest on June 18, 2015.During the visit Sergiy Solodkyy, Oleh Rybachuk, Chairman of the CentreUA, and Olena Prystayko, Executive Director of the Ukrainian Think Tanks Office in Brussels, spoke at the expert roundtable “SitRep Ukraine: Tanks, Treaties and Turmoil“, organized by the Hungarian Institute for Foreign Affairs together with the Embassy of the United States in Budapest.

Among the speakers of this high-level event were also E.Colleen Bell, Ambassador of the United States to Hungary, Levente Benkő, Political Director of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Dr. László Póti, Senior Research Fellow at the, Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Miriam Lexmann, Director of EU Offices at the International Republican Institute.

The expert roundtable was followed by the closed-door meetings with the officials at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, experts from National University of Public Service, International Centre for Democratic Transition and briefings with journalists.

The visit was organized by Ukrainian Think Tanks Liaison Office in Brussels in cooperation with the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade (Budapest), International Republican Institute (Brussels) and with support of the USA Mission to the EU and the International Renaissance Foundation.{3}
