The aim of the event was to demonstrate unity of efforts of the Ukrainian Government, Parliament and civil society in communication with the EU on visa free regime for Ukraine.

At the event IWP presented a policy memo, prepared in cooperation with the Europe Without Barriers, the Anticorruption Action Center, and the Europeiska Pravda. Ukrainian experts and civil activists developed arguments targeting the most common fears of the EU citizens towards the abolishment of visas for Ukrainians.

The event was held within the IWP’s project “New European Policy: Filling the Awareness Gap”. This project is carried out within the National Initiatives to Enhance Reforms (UNITER) project, supported by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by the Pact in Ukraine.
