The Euroatlantist Diary. Russia reports on NATO

One of the reasons to love Russian government is its frankness. From one hand, Vladimir Putin sincerely says how happy Russia will be (in theory) about Ukraine joining NATO with its rockets, from another hand the Foreign Ministry of Russia reports back on its activity in the past year, where it publicly affirms how Vladimir Putin have built relationships with Ukraine on a pragmatic basis and how active he was in talks with NATO.
