IWP analyst took part in the sixth Minsk Dialogue meeting

Daria Gaidai, Institute of World Policy analyst, took part in the sixth Minsk Dialogue meeting, which took place on November 1-2nd in the capital of Belarus. The theme of the international expert conference was “The Future of Eastern Europe and the South Caucasus: the intersection of foreign policy, security, and business”The expert initiative “Minsk Dialogue” (Belarus), the University of Giessen (Germany) and the Department of International Relations of the Belarusian State University presented as co-organizers of the conference.

Goals of the conference:

– To form a map of national, regional, and external approaches to the determination of challenges which stand before Eastern Europe and the South Caucasus.
– To conduct a thorough SWOT-analysis of Eastern Europe and the South Caucasus in a system of international relations on the European continent.

Member of Eastern Partnership countries, Russia, and Germany discussed strategic challenges which stand before the countries of Eastern Europe and the South Caucasus in the sphere of security, economy, and foreign policy, as well as develop a SWOT-matrix of the future region.
