Institute of World Policy presented photo project “Georgia 2000 vs. Georgia 2011” in Odessa

Institute of World Policy supported by the Embassy of Georgia to Ukraine and General Consulate of Georgia in Odessa presented the Photo exhibition “Georgia 2000 vs. Georgia 2011” in Odessa on April 8, 2011.The project is aimed to show the two Georgian realities separated by the decade and demonstrate the successs achieved by Tbilisi in the reforming process. Famous Georgian artists were invited to take part in the exhibition, in their works they reoresented Georgia in two different realities: in 2000 and 2011. {16} Viktor Shlinchak Chair of the Supervisory Board of IWP, Serhiy Solodky, first deputy director of the IWP, Sagalata Natalia, project manager of the IWP, Zurab Kvachadze, Consul General of Georgia in Odessa

Among first visitors of the exhibition were Dmytro Voloshenkov, deputy head of the Odessa Regional State Administration, Oleksiy Goncharenko, deputy head of the Odessa Regional Council, Sergiy Chernenko, First Deputy Mayor, Kostyantyn Rzhepyshevskyy, representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and many other representatives of political and cultural life, famous public figures and journalists. {12}

The exhibition will take place at Korobchynsky Art Center (Odessa, Pushkinska str., 32) from April 8 til April 22, 2011.
