Forum of the Institute of World Policy discussed the outcomes of the NATO summit in Wales

On September 10, the Institute of World Policy held the Forum entitled “Euro-Atlantic Partnership Day: Results of the NATO Summit in Wales”. More than 130 participants were represented at the Forum.This year’s Forum took place in the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine and was dedicated to the NATO Summit in Wales held last week. The discussion was very frank, dynamic, and sometimes even provocative.
Over one hundred participants discussed the main results and agreements reached at the Summit (including NATO’s contribution to the security of Ukraine) with these distinguished speakers: Valeriy Chaly, Deputy Head of Presidential Administration of Ukraine,Ihor Kabanenko, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Jon Elvedal Fredriksen, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to Ukraine, Volodymyr Ohryzko, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine (2007-2009),Simon Smith, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Great Britain to Ukraine, Adrian Karatnycky, Senior Fellow with the Atlantic Council’s Program on Transatlantic Relations, Valentyn Badrak, Director of the Center for Army, Conversion and Disarmament Studies and others.
